We had an early start this morning but it was terrible weather for driving. A lot of rain and wet roads with lots of trucks making a large spray. We stopped several times, for gas, coffee and other breaks. The weather improved a bit in the late afternoon and we made it to about 2 hours north of Laredo. We will travel into Mexico tomorrow. Paul did most of the driving today but Wendy did about 2 1/2 hours again.
Thanks goodness for a GPS which gets us on the right roads around cities like Dallas and through cities like San Antonio.
We found a new Best Western Hotel this evening with a very good BBQ Restaurant right next to it, so we enjoyed that.
